Hiking to the top of Wasson Peak the highest point in the Tucson Mountain Range, located in the western side of Saguaro National Park. This is a beautiful desert hike through the Sonoran Desert landscape which is dotted with the majestic Giant Saguaro Cactus, one of the most unique plantlife species on the planet.

This hike is not for the timid, the desert heat can reach temperatures well above 115 degrees F. You will also climb a total of 1,800 ft in elevation gain from the trail head to the peak with about an 8 mile round trip.
