Staying the night at one of the most haunted hotels in Arizona the Jerome Grand Hotel. What makes this place especially fascinating is it wasn't originally a hotel, this structure that looms above the old mining town of Jerome started as a hospital. Built in 1927, it was one of the most innovative hospitals in the western United States treating thousands of men who labored in the copper mines. It also served as a tuberculosis ward.

When the copper mines dried up in the early 1950s, the hospital closed its doors and sat abandoned for decades on the side of the mountain. It wasn't until the early 1990s when the property was purchased and renovated into a hotel The Jerome Grand Hotel opened it's doors to the public in 1996.

While the hotel offers comfortable accommodations, breathtaking views, and easy access to the historic mainstreets of Jerome, AZ...guests began realizing that there may be something or someone else enjoying the hospitality. After all an estimated 9,000 people died in this structure while it operated as a hospital...

The Jerome Grand Hotel is said to be one of the most haunted hotels in Arizona and the USA. So join me, as I checkin and prepare to stay the night with the spirits. I also will take you on a tour of the streets of Jerome, because it's not just the hotel that's haunted the entire town is claimed to be rife with paranromal activity. Jerome is one of the largest Ghost Towns in Arizona and used to be known as the Wickedest Town in the West.
