In this video we review WP Franklin Campground, which is a US Army Corps of Engineers Campgrounds. The Park is located approx. 30 miles from downtown Fort Myers and is located on the Caloosahatchee River section of the Okeechobee Waterway. The Park has 30 RV sites and 8 boat sites with full hookup. The campground amenities include, showers & restroom, fishing areas, boat ramp and courtesy ramp. You are also able to walk out to the dam/locks for an upclose look. Don't forget to watch out for alligators if you visit. Although we didn't see them, we were told by the camp hosts that they frequent the area.
