Gomez is our Virginia Nationnal Bank pet of the month for March. He came into the shelter near feral and terrified of just about everything. Since his arrival he has made tremendous strides and really blossomed into a beautiful soul. He is not the biggest fan of being picked up, but loves to be next to people and receive gentle pets. When Gomez hears people walking near him, he instantly starts to purr to try and get their attention. Gomez doesn't mind other cats, as long as they respect his personal space. A quiet home would be best for him because when he gets overwhelmed, he tends to retreat back into his shell. He is a huge people pleaser, and with the right person that can respect him needs he is sure to make a great cat.
