VN24 30102023 (D/M/Y) Holzwickede / Germany At around 9:00 a.m., the driver of a dump truck was driving his vehicle eastbound on Langscheder Straße when a car came towards him in a tight bend just before the Ruhrstraße junction and, according to witnesses, cut the bend considerably. To avoid a fatal headon collision, the brave driver of the truck steered his dump truck into the ditch. Unfortunately, a tree was in his way and he crashed into it with great force. The driver's cab was crushed and the driver was injured. The emergency services took him to hospital. The person who allegedly caused the accident did not stop and fled the scene in a westbound direction.
