☀Though it is most commonly used in the morning time due to its UV protective effects, there are certain conditions in which it’s better to apply vitamin c at night
Apply vitamin C in the morning if :
✔Mostly indoors
✔Less sun exposure
✔Using milder or stable forms of vitamin C like 3 O ethylascorbic acid, ascorbyl glycoside, sodium ascorbyl phosphate or magnesium ascorbyl phosphate
✔using for glow and brightening effect
✔using retinol at night
Apply Vitamin C at night if:
✔sensitive skin
✔using potent form like L ascorbic acid
✔not using a retinol at night or using retinol only 23 times a week
✔mainly for dark spots
✔as maintenance treatment for melasma
✔excess sun exposure
