During my lunch earlier today (6419), I went to visit Zeus at the Pet Hosptial where he is recovering from surgery to remove a large tumor that was between his small and large intestines. It was blocking Zeus from getting nutrients which caused him to quickly lose a lot of weight. The vet put in a feeding tube for Zeus.
During surgery the veterinarian saw that Zeus' liver is mottled. He drew blood to see whether it is caused by fatty liver disease from not eating or from the tumor spreading. He should call me with the results tomorrow.
The vet bill to date is $2040.01 USD. I'm putting it on a zero interest card for now, but it will be financially tight trying to pay if off before all of the interest comes due.
