I got this old carpenter's brace from a box of junk and it was missing one of the handles, and badly rusted. I didn’t own a brace up until this point so I thought it would be the perfect time to restore it, so I have one in my tool collection. The original top handle was covered in brass and it’s very interesting how it was made, I couldn’t save it, but I like my new handle better
