As my previous race videos have shown, Florida has much more to offer than it’s beaches and “Florida Man” stories. The Forgotten Florida trail race is an experience into what a vast majority of Florida has to offer, and RD Sean “Run Bum” Blanton put together one amazing course. Highlighting the beautiful Florida trail, wide open farmlands, and junglelike forests, the race takes runners through an incredible pointtopoint journey that should be on every trail runners bucket list.

As for me, I ran this race 4 weeks after setting the course record for the Just Survive 125 mile Ultra. I was feeling up to the challenge and wanted to test myself (and also build up a Badwater resume). Unfortunately, I was battling a knee injury that prevented me from achieving my target time, but I was still able to finish with a decent time and have one hell of a good time experiencing this amazing course!
