Welcome to Innsbruck, the capital of Austria’s western state of Tyrol! It's a city in the Alps known for being one of best destinations for winter sports. Today we check out the Old Town and visit the Bergisel Ski Jump, a prominent landmark overlooking the stunning Innsbruck skyline. We were so lucky to have met Thomas, a local skijumper who was kind enough to take us up the the very top, where the athletes clip in the skii's and catapult down the ramp at approx 90 km per hour. We were talking about this in the days proceeding, as it was so incredibly mind blowing to us seeing this in person!
