In order to draw more distance from digital distractions in my life, I turned my old phone into my “lite phone.” The intention was to have a separate device for only apps that promote mindfulness and help me feel grounded, and with the ability to turn on and off texting/ calling notifications, allowing me to ditch the distractions of my regular phone whenever I wanted. This did not go as planned.
