A mum and dad have declared that they will never return to a Morrisons store after their 13yearold son was allegedly 'kicked out' of the Killingworth Shopping Centre, following the enforcement of a policy banning under 18s without an adult after 4pm. The couple claim their son took a trip to Morrisons to buy ingredients for a sausage and egg recipe he had learned to make at school, before he was approached by a security guard who asked him to leave the premises. This comes after a shopping centre in Bromley placed a ban on children aged under 16 entering without an adult after it faced disruption and antisocial behaviour from youths. So is it right for stores to turn away teens or is this a ‘nannystate’ policy that goes too far?
