Mike and Vicky Whitfield, a couple whose daughter almost died whilst being treated by Lucy Letby have called on police to widen their investigation to include other suspicious deaths and near fatal collapses of babies.
Mike and his wife Vicky have revealed that their baby suffered a catastrophic lung collapse three days after being born prematurely at the Countess of Chester Hospital, in November 2013. She only survived because doctors at a second hospital managed to revive her using a procedure that had been tried twice without success at Chester.
