A team of specialized Autobots not quite ready for primetime battles against the Decepticons is given a vital mission by Optimus Prime. The Rescue Bots Chase (the PoliceBot); Heatwave (the FireBot); Blades (the CopterBot); and Boulder (the ConstructionBot) are placed under cover on the island of Griffin Rock, just off the East Coast of America, to team with a human family of first responders. The goal for the Bots is to learn about mankind and how to help others to find out what it really means to be a hero.

The Bots:
• Heatwave – Leader of the Rescue Bots. Transforms into a fire engine!
• Chase – A bythebook police bot. Transforms into a police car!
• Blades – A robot that loves to love. Transforms into a rescue helicopter!
• Boulder – A robot that loves to learn. Transforms into a bulldozer!

The Humans:
• Cody Burns – Communications expert and close friend of the Rescue Bots!
• Kade Burns – A firefighter and Cody’s older brother!
• Dani Burns – A helicopter pilot and Cody’s older sister!
• Dr. Graham Burns – A construction engineer and Cody’s older brother!
