One of the most amazing experiences of my life. A group from a traditional forum got together and planned a horseback elk trip into the San Juan range in southern Colorado. My brother and I (Josh) went together. I took a Savanah Longbow with self made arrows and Josh made a Hickory self bow he called "Goose" with self arrows. We spent about 12 days chasing elk. My only kill was a mouse raiding camp. We shared great times, an amazing camp, saw many animals and had some great opportunities.
