We caught up with the Toyota team to check out their tricked out Sienna RTuned Minivan during the 2016 One Lap of America race.
The lightweight, racetuned custom van trims about 700lb off the stock Sienna SE, and gets racing suspension, brakes and tires, and a limitedslip diff, but still has a stock 3.5L V6 engine and 6speed automatic transmission.
The Sienna RTuned went on to win its class for the overall race, and came in 20th out of 69 entrants overall, beating cars like a Porsche Cayman, Ford Mustang, Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette.
One Lap of America is a modern day Cannonball Run, covering nearly 3,000 miles, with timed competitions at road courses, skid pads, autocross, and drag strips.

Toyota also entered a stock Sienna SE in the race just to prove that it's way more fun to drive than you might think.
