Tomorrow performed by Sydnie Christmas — Piano Cover

Three weeks ago when I received the news that I had not gotten into grad school, I admittedly was not thrilled and felt uncertain as to whether a future in the healthcare industry was for me. But with some encouragement from peers and college faculty, I was determined to not let my confidence be diminished, and through some perseverance, I ultimately secured my first fulltime job, a gap year medical assistant position! I am looking forward to learning about what it truly means to be a healthcare professional who can influence the health outcomes of patients for the better.
Through this nonlinear path to success, I have learned about the importance of “tomorrow,” as things really can change for the better if you are patient with yourself and have hope. To achieve my goal, I needed to surround myself with people who encourage me to be my best authentic self, and take the initiative to apply to positions, recognizing that the grad school outcome and the less favorable influences in my life do not have to define my potential. Tomorrow is always a day away, and graduation is 10 days away! Thank you to Sydnie Christmas from Britain’s Got Talent for an uplifting performance!
