This week was Spring Break for our family, so I'll show you how I prepare for for and survive family ROAD TRIPS! From how to prep your car, to what to bring, including activities and strategies to manage your kids and teens during long road trips! What tips can you add to my list? COMMENT BELOW!

The twins and Kamri are not home, so it was just me and Shaun with Rylan, Daxton and Paisley. We decide to take a road trip to a beach house AirBnB in Galveston, TX. There are things you should do before you leave for a road trip, and things you can do during the drive to make the trip easier. I'll give you a summary of the tips below!

Day Before the Trip:
If traveling with pets make sure you have leash, water bowls, poop bags, and treats.
Fill up your gas tank ahead of time and check to make sure your car is ready for the drive (tire pressure, windshield wiper fluid, oil, transmission fluid, etc)!
Make sure you have emergency roadside and FirstAid kits/car battery jumper pack.
Prepare the inside of the car with trash bags and other useful items.
Before you go, make sure to take out the trash in your house and leave a few lights on!
Charge all of your electronics the night before you leave.

Day Of and During the Trip:
Regulate drink intake to reduce potty breaks on the road.
Blankets and pillows are for comfort and can work as a divider between kids!
Plan fun stops along your route to keep things interesting.
Bring envelopes of cash for your kids to buy what they want when you stop somewhere.
Make sure you have enough snacks to keep your energy up!
Say a prayer before you leave!
Take turns picking entertainment.
Play games the whole car can participate in together.
