I like puzzle games and I particularly like VR puzzle games BUT this new VR game from the creators of Myst proved far too much for my tiny goblin brain! Firmament VR is a brand new VR game from Cyan, developers of classic puzzle adventures like Myst and Riven. Much like their previous games Firmament is pulling no punches with its large scale, environmental puzzles that will challenge the most battle hardened puzzle game enjoyer. I was stuck on the FIRST PUZZLE... which was literally just figuring out how to cross a small gap. If you're looking for a seriously challenging new VR puzzle adventure then Firmament will definitely scratch your itch, it's also a genuinely gorgeous game with some of the best VR visuals/best VR graphics on PC (however it is hampered somewhat by some pretty constant invisible loading walls which occur every time you back track through certain locations).

If you loved Myst, Riven or Obduction then you're bound to fall in love with Firmament VR, my brain just isn't cut out for this kind of intricacy! This Firmament VR gameplay was captured on the highest graphics preset using a Quest 2 PC VR connection. This footage is representative of the current 4090 VR gameplay experience.
