Oh dear... HappyFunland might be one of the JANKIEST new VR games I've played so far in 2024, it is hilariously bad for all the wrong reasons and I'd advise you all to skip this haunted theme park VR adventure unless you enjoy those gloriously broken, wonky VR experiences that feel very much like early access games! Today we're checking out Happy Funland on PSVR2, this isn't a full Happy Funland PSVR2 review however because I couldn't drag myself to the end of this game despite it being unintentionally hilarious throughout. The premise is simple, you've been hired to explore & record footage of an old abandoned theme park, however this is no ordinary VR theme park, this one is filled with creepy animatronic creatures, bizarre booby traps and some of the craziest physics you've ever seen. I'm not sure if HappyFunland VR is trying to be a horror game, it wasn't scary at any point and really feels more like a bizarre comedy packed with adult humour than a true attempt at VR horror, it's just an all round bizarre experience that's saddled with awful combat, basically no accessibility or options, weird physics, low quality visuals and some extremely annoying voice acting.

This HappyFunland PSVR2 gameplay / Happy Funland PSVR2 gameplay was captured directly from the most recent PSVR2 build of the game and this footage represents a prerelease version. HappyFunland is out for PSVR2 and PCVR on the 22nd of March 2024... buyer beware!
