The Sun's Magnetic Field is About to FLIP (again)

Another Question

Interestingly, our Sun's magnetic field periodically changes polarity. This regular occurrence influences space weather in the solar system, so that every 11 or so years, we observe an increase in solar flares, sunspots, and CMEs. These events can have a significant impact on our civilization, making it essential to study solar activity and develop ways to forecast it.

Initially, this video was going to cover the possibility of an unexpectedly intense solar maximum of the 25th cycle, which is expected to occur in 2024. However, before the video was completed, the forecast was adjusted, indicating that this cycle is going to be quite weak. :)

Probably not a bad thing.
