THE SECRET to Perfect French Crepes is mixing all the ingredients correctly!
Hey, friends! Today, I'm sharing the perfect French crepe recipe that's an absolute musttry. In a bowl, combine 8 ounces (230 grams) of allpurpose flour with 3 tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Make a well in the flour and crack 3 eggs into it whisk gently. Gradually add 17 fluid ounces (500 ml) of warm milk while whisking until it forms a smooth, thick batter. Remember, reserve some milk for later! Melt 1.5 ounces (50 grams) of butter and add it to the batter along with 1/4 teaspoon of vanillin and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice for that extra kick. If you don't have vanillin, 2 teaspoons of liquid vanilla extract work just as well. Once mixed, pour in the remaining milk and whisk till smooth. Heat a nonstick or ceramiccoated pan over high heat, add a thin layer of batter, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Don't pour too much batter! These turn out thin and flawless.
