I've had a hard time getting my work down while my smartphone beckons to me. I've found that keeping a pocket notebook system which incorporates the best of Cal Newport's timeblocking method with the best of Ryder Carroll's Bullet Journal method can help me stop mindlessly scrolling on my phone and actually get my work done. In this video I go over some of the tenets of digital minimalism, I lay out the major ideas in the philosophy of technology, and then I show you how to incorporate timeblocking into your own pocket bullet journal.
