Here's another of the classic BBC documentary series "Just Another Day" produced by the celebrated documentary maker John Pitman from 1985 The Natural History Museum London.

The programme has special significance to me as I worked as warder at this wonderful museum for 18 months from 1993 onwards by then a lot of the museums layout of exhibitions and staff had undergone significant ideological changes and traumas in pursuit of a flawed political belief that museums could be run on commercial lines.Today entrance is free once again as it should be,and this unique place with all its treasures can be seen by all who wish to partake of its wonders.

This is a marvelous glimpse at how the museum looked back in 1985.
