Experience & Feedback: VERY IMPORTANT TO READ: We booked two nights by mistake for 150324 to 170324 instead of 160324 to 180324. Booking I wanted from 160324 because once we reach @ 01:40 AM we should check in immediately.
However we realised our booking date mistake and contacted hotel on the number mentioned on the voucher and the person confirmed that dates have been changed. But when we reached at the hotel at the reception we were informed no room available they have booked our room for some other guest.
We were so disappointed and at that time no room was available in that area. However hotel staff was kind enough help us to find one hotel near the airport only and he refunded one night charges to us.m but it took a lot of time and we checked in the hotel @ 05:30 am in the morning. This unexpected situation ruined our first day of Ho Chi Minh City & we ended up with roaming around in the city only and couldn’t manage to go to Cu Chi Tunnel or Mekong Delta.

So yes, you should stay at least one full day (preferably 2 days, one for mekong and another for chu chi tunnel) in Ho Chi Minh City and start your day early morning to explore these two beautiful places:
Cu Chi Tunnel
Mekong Delta
