The person exists before the body, survives beyond it, and some philosophies even suggest that they continue through time, creating new bodies and carrying the experiences of past lives into each new one. This means that each body we inhabit reflects the level of inner harmony we've achieved.

Now, Just like a house needs maintenance, our bodies do too. Often, we assume our bodies will take care of themselves, much like we might assume a nice house will stay nice without upkeep. But just as a neglected house deteriorates, so does our vitality if we don't actively care for our bodies.
