The pyramid perm is created with a wrapping technique that involves using a chosen curler size, which could be one or two different sizes. Starting at the bottom nape area, the curlers are wound on an angle, using small sections rolled from one side of the head to the other. The curlers should lay diagonally and hang like pinecones on a tree. In this method, the first section is rolled either to the right or left, the second section is rolled the opposite way, and the third in the opposite direction, continuing this pattern around the head.

The finished look should resemble the shape of a pyramid, with a wider base at the bottom and a narrower structure when elevated to the top of the head. This wrapping technique creates a beautiful pyramidshaped curl pattern, providing the hair with a tremendous amount of volume and bounce.
