For this week’s episode, we’re making the Espresso Martiki. This riff on the Espresso Martini takes the cocktail in a totally different direction. Blending tropical flavors like pineapple and orgeat with a rum base spirit created a coffee cocktail that is squarely in the tiki category. This cocktail was created by bartender extraordinaire Martin Hudak, who has written an entire book on coffee cocktails (link below)! We were lucky enough to sit down with him for this episode and hear his inspiration for this delicious and remarkable cocktail.

½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup (Liber & Co.)
1½ oz pineapple rum
½ oz coffee liqueur (we like Mr. Black)
1 oz espresso coffee (fresh & hot, we used Bartender's Blend)
1 oz pineapple juice
