It's Local Horror week in "Horror MAYhem" and I skip over the county line to East Sussex to visit Lamb House, the residence which inspired the ghost stories of EF Benson, and also his brother A C Benson.

It's also the house where Henry James wrote "The Wings of the Dove", "The Ambassadors" and "The Golden Bowl". However not, frustratingly, "The Turn of the Screw" which would have been the ghost story jackpot! Missed it by 6 short months...
