MATERIALS:

Crochet hook 4.5 mm
Soft baby yarn (mixed, cotton and acrylic)
Fine mohair yarn for the tiny flower
Scissors
Yarn needle
One Pearl

ABBREVIATIONS:

CH = chain
SL ST = sleep stitch
SC = single crochet
DC = double crochet
BPHDC = back post half double crochet
YO = yarn over
R = round

BPHDC (Back Post Half Double Crochet) stitch:

Step 1: Yarn over (YO) your hook from back to front, then insert your hook from right to left behind the post (vertical part) of the next stitch in the previous row.
Step 2: YO again and pull up a loop through the post of the stitch, bringing it to the back of your work.
Step 3: YO again and pull through all three loops on your hook. This completes one half double crochet stitch worked around the post of the stitch from the previous row.
Step 4: Repeat Steps 24 across the row, working one BPHDC in each stitch.

CH4, form a ring
R1: CH3, YO, insert the hook into the ring, YO, pull through, YO, pull through 2 loops on the hook, YO, insert the hook in same place, YO , pull through 2 loops, YO, pull through all loops, CH3, 1 SL ST in the ring repeat
