The construction of this crochet baby bonnet is simple:
1. The crown of the bonnet will be worked in rounds.
2. After round 4, you will work in rows, turning at the end of each row.
3. The ruffled edge is made by working one row of treble crochet stitches.
4. The bonnet is finished off with some crochet ties and one row of simple single crochet edging.

You can embellish the bonnet with a little crochet rose and leaf, or just leave it plain – it looks very pretty just as it is!

The following stitches and abbreviations are used in this tutorial:
ch chain
dc double crochet
sc single crochet
sl st slip stitch
st stitch
