Ruler of the Fire Nation during the conclusion of the Hundred Year War, Ozai was one of the most powerful firebenders on Earth, and a driver of industry and technology. Like his predecessors, he had ambitions of conquering the world by bringing down the other nations becoming supreme ruler. Strategically using Sozin’s Comet, he almost achieved his goal of becoming Phoenix King but he was ultimately thwarted by Avatar Aang, who took away his bending abilities.
