Live edge furniture is becoming increasingly popular due to its ability to honor the wood’s natural beauty imperfections and all. It fits well within the midcentury modern furniture trend, so it’s no wonder so many people want this rustic yet modern look in their homes. I was commissioned to create this gorgeous piece for my client’s workfromhome office and he only had a few requests: live edge, walnut, simple leg design, and brass accents, all of which came together beautifully. The simple and modern leg design allowed the walnut slab to have the attention it deserves.
