This is how I've trapped the smartest rat I have ever had to deal with. Also keeps pets from eating the trapped mouse or rat. I can also put these boxes right into the chicken coops, trap rodents and remove them safely.

IMPROVED Mouse or Rat TRAP. Sure clean kill. How to Get Rid of Mice, Rats or Voles before they reach mouse infestation levels, Fail SAFE rat, mouse, vole and other rodent trap system. NOTHING gets away. Build your own. The more I've learned about the disease potential with rodents present, and the damage they are capable of causing... I have gradually made the transition from live capture, to traps that kill. IF you are going to put out killing traps, it's important that they do the job quick and clean. Also important that pets and children cannot be harmed by traps when placed. Watch and learn.
