Michael and Courtney Gutschenritter of Three Brothers Farm share with us their process of raising 1000 chickens on pasture using the Best Nest Boxes inside of a Prairie Schooner. The Prairie Schooner is from Prairie Schooners LLC and is like a greenhouse on skids works great for housing the hens on pasture. The Best Nest Box is very adaptable to different environments and works perfectly for this setup. Michael talks about their success with the Best Nest Boxes as well as best practices when using them. The eggs are extremely easy to collect, they remain unbroken, not pecked by the chickens, and they are very clean with no need to wash.
