RECIPE: A Family Favorite!!
GINGER COOKIES (Also known as GINGERSNAPS) GINGERBREAD COOKIES
These cookies are softer when they are thick or formed into balls and pressed slightly and more like gingersnaps when rolled thinner.
3/4 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Brown Sugar or you can use white
1/4 Cup Molasses
1 Egg
2 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 Heaping tsp. Ginger
1 Heaping tsp. Cinnamon
1 Heaping tsp. Cloves
Bake in 375 Degree oven for 1012 Minutes
