BABKA a bread or a cake?

Traditionally babka is filled with chocolate or cinnamon filling but chocolate babka is one of my favourites. If you love chocolate and cake like textured bread then you came to the right place. Today i am gonna show you how easily you can make this dreamy chocolate babka at home, which is a little crunchy on the outside and is soft, chocolaty and buttery on the inside and this is something you won’t want to share with anyone :)

ingredients you will need

All purpose flour 750 gms
Eggs 3 + 2 egg yolks
Active dry Yeast or (instant yeast) 14 gms
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Granulated sugar 100 gms
Milk 200 ml
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Softened unsalted butter 160 gms

Chocolate Spread
70% cacao dark chocolate chips 250 gms
Unsalted Butter 120 gms
Cocoa Powder 12 gms
Powdered Sugar 120 gms

Sugar syrup
Water 80 ml
Granulated sugar 100 gms

Loaf pans 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch
