The Anaheim Ducks have not had a captain since Captain Ryan Getzlaf retired, becoming one of five teams without a captain along with the Buffalo Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks, Seattle Kraken and the Utah Hockey club. But that seems to be coming to an end as GM Pat Verbeek said the Ducks are likely to name a captain before next season.
