It might come as a surprise to some, but Australia contains several active volcanoes. One of these volcanoes produced an eruption earlier this year, in 2021. I am referring to Heard Island, which has almost been continuously erupting since record keeping began. This video will discuss this volcano, sometimes referred to as Big Ben, and mention what its future hazards are.
