When RAM announced that they would be killing off the HEMI, I was one of the people that groaned. It's not that I don't like turbo engines, I really do, but I wasn't sure what RAM had planned. Afterall, they never did stuff the 392 Hemi under the RAM's hood (and they should have done that ages ago), but the new inline engines almost makeup for that misstep. The new 3.0L "Hurricane" inline 6 engine delivers more power and more torque than the outgoing 5.7L V8 before we even talk about the bonkers new 540 HP tune of the engine. That topline engine cranks out more power and more torque than Chevy's 6.2L V8 or Ford's 3.5L Raptor and comes in second only to the crazy F150 Raptor R. Of course you know what that means... Yep, the TRX is dead.
