When we design holistically, our gardens are more resilient, function better, save us money and energy. I grow two types of fruit trees in my poultry run specifically because the chickens and ducks provide a benefit to the fruit trees AND the fruit trees provide a benefit right back to the poultry. And I get loads of organic fruit and eggs as well!
