Testing my new Ingersoll Rand model 150BMPD air starter for my Detroit Diesel 453T. This starter was built for an EMD 16567 locomotive engine, and is rated 40hp @ 200psi instead of 34hp @ 150psi. That particular engine used two of these for starting. This is one of the smaller IR air starters, but is in every bit of the word overkill to start a 212 cubic inch diesel engine!
