We're hitting the road this week and heading north to Ocala, Florida for the annual Festival of Speed. The guys from Electrified Garage invited us to come up to catch a glimpse of some of the finer things the automotive world has to offer. So we loaded up our Tesla swapped Chevy C10 into our new trailer and hauled the EV truck to the show! We did feel a little out of place among a lot of the high dollar imports at the Festival of Speed, but also saw some builds that were right up our alley; like the blown, Hemi swapped Rolls Royce, a gorgeous Nova 2 drag car, and a very clean Ford Roadster. Unfortunately an upscale event like Festival of Speed didn't have a burnout pit, so we grabbed Rich Rebuilds and hit the streets of Ocala so he could take his first spin in the Tesla swapped squarebody since his last go in Sonoma, California. It seemed like all of our hard work after SEMA paid off, because Rich seemed to be impressed with the newly tuned motors and dialed in pushrod suspension. We couldn't let him leave Florida without smoking some rubber though. So Andrew pushed him over to the passenger seat and lit up the tires in some tight donuts. Allinall, we had a killer time up in north Florida. Between getting to hang with Rich and seeing all the high dollar cars at Festival of Speed, it was a weekend well spent. And hey! We even brought home a "Best Custom Car" trophy!
