We tested the results of Tenacity and Alligare Triclopyr 4 over the course of a 3week trial. Our lawn was suffering from Wild Violet, Clover, Crabgrass, Bermuda and Dallisgrass. The Tenacity and Tripcloyr did a great job of killing off the unwanted weeds so that we could properly overseed the lawn.

Notes about seeding: Tenacity is safe to use before, during or after overseeding a fescue lawn. Alligare's Triclopyr requires a 3 week wait time after your last application before you can seed.

We are happy with the results of both products. The Triclopyr 4 works insanely fast on clover. It seriously kills it in less than 24 hours. The Tenacity takes a couple of weeks to start showing results but is really fun to watch as it starves the weeds from chlorophyll, which leads them to their demise.
