Tater Tot Hotdish : A Minnesota Classic Comfort Food

There are, of course, some variations to Tater Tot Hotdish. Some people include corn or other veggies. Some make their own cream of mushroom soup. I've seen cheese on top, but I've never tried that before. I also don't have the patience to precisely line up the tater tots on top.

My recipe:

2 pounds ground beef, season with salt and pepper, drain the grease
2 cans green beans, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can milk
1 bag Ore Ida tater tots ( @OreidaPotatoes )yes, they MUST be Ore Ida

Mix first four ingredients together. Spread tater tots evenly on top. Bake for about 30 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and tater tops are crisp.

Serve with a sliced or buttered bread and/or applesauce on the side if desired.
