First of all, Sam and Sue have 5 easy, fun and tasty recipes for you. You won't need anything special to make them, just things like cheese and pasta. And some bright food coloring, of course! If you don't have that Sam will give you a great tip on how to get vibrant galaxylike colors naturally without any artificial coloring added. It's a feast for your eyes and your stomach!

Did you know that food coloring can be used in almost every recipe? You can make any meal colorful and bright using natural food dyes or store bought food coloring. It's a great way to make a special meal for someone (maybe for a birthday!), kids love it because they can play with rainbow food and learn colors easily too. RECIPES IN THIS EPISODE:



RAINBOW GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup of any white cheese (shredded)

2 slices of bread

butter

food coloring (red, yellow, blue, green or any other colors you like!)

INSTRUCTIONS:

* Divide cheese between four bowls evenly.

* Add 23 drops of food coloring to one bowl, stir it well with a fork until all cheese in a bowl is coated.

* Repeat the previous step with other bowls using different colors.

* Add the cheese to one slice of bread in shape of lines, be careful not to mix colors.

* Cover your rainbow sandwich with another bread slice.

* Add some butter to a hot pan and wait until it's melted

* Place the sandwich on a pan and cook 23 minutes on each side until bread turns golden brown and all the cheese melts.

* Remove from heat, cut AGAINST the original cheese lines and enjoy your rainbow cheese sandwich!



RAINBOW PANCAKES

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup allpurpose flour

2 tbsp. white sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

1 egg

1 1/4 cup milk

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

HOW TO MAKE IT:

* Whisk the egg with sugar until the mixture is fluffy.

* In a separate bowl mix together flour, milk, oil, and baking powder.

* Combine both mixtures together.

* Divide the batter into separate bowls.

* Add different colors to each one.

* Heat up a skillet and cook your rainbow pancakes. Don't keep them on the skillet for too long or they'll turn brown!

* Eat your personal pancake rainbow with honey, jam, butter or maple syrup!



RAINBOW SPAGHETTI

INGREDIENTS:

1 box of spaghetti noodles

food coloring

grated cheese

olive oil

TUTORIAL:

* Cook spaghetti according to the instruction on the package.

* Add different colors of food coloring to four separate bowls.

* After the noodles are done divide them between colored bowls.

* Stir each portion of spaghetti well until it's evenly coated with color.

* Mix all colors together, add some olive oil and sprinkle with cheese.

* Ecco, your Italian lunch or dinner is served!



Colorful sunnysideup fried eggs

INGREDIENTS:

2 eggs

red cabbage

lemon

vegetable oil



RAINBOW WAFFLES

INGREDIENTS:

belgian waffles (homemade or store bought)

light blue frosting

minimarshmallows

sour candy belts (rainbow colored)
