Tangmere REALLY Slips when starting its leg of the Great Britain XVI.
Steam Trio at Carlisle:
When GB XVI Passed through Carlisle.
Tangmere
Black 5s,
Class 37
Class 47
19 April 24

I was on Citadel station and around to capture the atmosphere and see the three steam locos.

In the Holding Sidings a Network Rail structure gauging train with Class 37
Also Freightliner had run a crew training run from Crewe using their Class 47 Beeching's Legacy
The Russell intermodal ran earlier than usual.

I got caught out by 6K05 to Crewe running early when I was at St Nicholas Bridge waiting for Tangmere to arrive light from Carnforth.

The Black 5s put on a bit of a show both arriving with the Great Britain XVI and when departing the station.

Tangmere too tried not to slip but slip it did several times when starting the Great Britain!!

The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.

Any observations are my own and not intended to show any authority and may show my misunderstanding.
