Departing from Taipei Zoo in Taiwan and heading to the Mount WufenShan Weather Radar Station, this is one of Northern Taiwan's epic classic cycling routes, designed with cycling enthusiasts in mind. The route takes you through route 106, leading to Pingxi and then on to Shifen. On weekdays, traffic is relatively light, and you'll pass through the iconic undulating terrain of the Greater Taipei area.

On this road, cyclists can fully experience the speed and excitement of road cycling. Upon reaching Shifen, you'll embark on a challenging climb towards the WufenShan Mountain Weather Radar Station. The road features a series of hairpin turns spiraling up the mountain, offering exceptional vistas from the summit, including distant views of Rueifang and Keelung Harbor.

Starting the timed climb from Shifen Old Street to WufenShan Mountain, the entire route features picturesque scenery and stands as a classic training and travel route for cyclists in the Greater Taipei area.
