Tai Dam Lum Pun (Lament of the Black Tai) is a Lao classic song that was making its debut in 1970. It is about Tai Dam people refuging in Laos during the first stage of the Vietnam War. This song was written by Baccam Lac, a Tai Dam man born in Son La, Vietnam. It had been recomposed by Sanong Ounvong under his pen name "Mee Dam"; and Kor Viseth was the original singer.
