Recently I climbed Mount Batur, one of the most famous hikes in Bali, in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise from the top. This is a very popular tour sold all around the island, and they will tell you you must have a guide, but the reality is it's super simple to do it yourself! I resisted all the pressure and managed to climb to the top all by myself, and yo can do it too! The view from the top is absolutely stunning, not just at sunrise but any time of the day.
